Cannot sync Garmin 1030 plus with Garmin Express running Mac OS 12.6 and Garmin express 7.14.

Cannot sync Garmin 1030 plus with Garmin Express running Mac OS 12.6 and Garmin express 7.14. Watch 945 syncs but not the 1030 plus. Have rebooted, reset and considered sacrificing the cat under the moon but to no effect. Thinking of selling up and moving to Wahoo land.

I have an Edge 1030 & 1000. And my Mac does not see them using Garmin Express. Mac running Venture 13.0.01, updated Garmin Express no difference. Done the restart a few times, nothing. My Mac will Bluetooth & Wi-Fi to my 1030 & Wi-Fi to my 1000.

No, I am not seeing it in Finder.

Plug it in and see if Disk Utility can see and mount it.

Try different cables.

I have a Mac laptop M1 on os 13.1. I have the same trouble. I used to have an iMac on an older OS system and still the same problem. In all I've used 5 different OS versions. I find I have to keep turning off Edge 1030 & reconnecting via USB. Eventually, usually after 6 or 7 attempts, the Edge goes into computer comms instead of charging. I've had the Edge for 2 years and Garmin still haven't sorted the problem. Arrogant or useless, I'm unsure. I'm also considering Wahoo as I find Garmin's software clunky and unfriendly. The problem is obviously with the Edge software as it DOES NOT recognise being connected to a computer via Garmin Express. Come on Garmin, listen to your customers concerns and give us a fix, or should I say, give us what we should get from the off. After all, we pay premium for Garmin products and the software is crap.
