Has anyone worked out a reliable solution to the Nav VI not connecting to one of Apple's M chip computers? Tried different cables and USB-A 2.0 hubs and still it won't go into the data transfer mode to be read by the computer.

It's practically criminal, the lack of support/remedy from Garmin for a device that costs $900 US. "Buy more hardware" is not a solution. Imagine if you bought an iPhone and it wouldn't charge unless you…

Imagine if you bought an iPhone and it wouldn't charge unless you spent another 50 bucks on a special USB hub. Where is the outrage toward Garmin for selling us defective hardware?
My solution was to ditch the thing and buy something else. Hard to believe Garmin is leaving Mac users out in the cold given that Macs are the most popular laptop brand on the planet.
