how do I change region in update maps on my garmin nuvi 265W

My Garmin Express update defaults to Canada as the region of choice. Space is an issue so it is making me choose a regional.

I want the US but that does not seem to be an option. I had to choose not to update. Is there a work around to provide me an option to choose the US as my region?

Changed it. Its defaulting because you won't now have sufficient space due to the increase in map size. See this FAQ which explains what to do support.garmin.com/.../

Going through all the Garmin references supplied by SUSSAMB can be quite time consuming. But you basically need an SD card, at least 8 GB but no larger than 32 GB. Not any places have the 8 or 16 GB any more but a 32 GB from Best Buy will be around $15. Don’t worry about the speed of the card. You might even have a card from an old camera that will work.
