Garmin Express crashes when trying to connect to Fenix 7X

Every time I'm attempting to connect my Fenix 7X to my Mac, I have Garmin Express crashing. 

Now... I did all the troubleshoot possible and impossible, including uninstalling Garmin Express from my computer, re-installed it again, changed USB hub to another, opened Garmin Express without any USB connected, restarted computer, restarted the watch, and NOTHING. 

This is being extremely frustrated, since I cannot update the device, nor, upload some of the workouts that failed to get synched with Garmin Connect (!!!). 

Some technical details of my setup:

Garmin Express version: 7.13.2.0 (latest available from Garmin website)
Operating System version: MacOS Monterrey (12.4 (21F79))
Laptop: MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2019, Four Thunderbolt 3 ports)
USB port: using a USB-C hub to USB, to connect the cable (it used to work before with my Forerunner, but no longer with Fenix 7X)

Please help, as I need to get some stuff uploaded to Connect, so it can get synched with TrainingPeaks!
