Garmin express on MAC no longer recognises Spotify music on watch

So I have 10 gb's of Spotify music on my Garmin Fenix 5s plus.

On the watch I can no longer play the music because I need to reconnect to garmin express to renew the Spotify license.

on the Garmin express app under "music" I see 

-Capacity 14.5gb

-My music 116.9 KB

-Other 10.6GB

So It no longer recognises Spotify music. Then once I click "music apps" the Garmin app crashes. Every time.

Newest firmware of Garmin express 7.13.2.0

The watch is up to date according to the app, version 18.00

I just recently bought this watch because of the offline music capability and sofar have used it twice. Now it's collecting dust for a month

    Same here. I just bought this watch and it does not appear to be taking Spotify. any help with this?

    every time I try to access the music tab, then music apps to access spotify, garmin express closes, that is, it's a live music, but I can't put songs on it like I could

    My goodness - this discussion forum is like from the late 90s.  whenever i try to go to external music service on Garmin Express on Mac - it says - Garmin Express quite unexpectedly.  How do I fix this?  I have the new forerunner 945

    I have the exact same issue. Detailed error is below. As a SW engineer I know support engineer can't fix this. Please provide a fix to Garmin Express.

    My brand new 255 music is doing the same thing. Very frustrating. I want to just delete Spotify now but can't tell how to do that, either.
