No change map option in Garmin Express

On updating the maps to my Garmin 390, I have found that it has only loaded Europe North rather than the whole of Europe as on previous occasions.

There is a 32g sd card installed (as before) and I have taken it out and reinstalled it in case it had somehow become loose. I then tried reinstalling maps but still only got Europe North.

I have now found that when connected to Garmin Express (7.13.2.0) under Map Details/Options, I only see options to 'Reinstall Map' and 'Install Map to Computer' whereas before there was a change map option? As I believe I could use that option to install the whole region.

I also just noticed that when ejecting the 390 from my Mac via Garmin Express, it now only ejects the unit and not the sd card as before.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Copy any data you need to save from the SD card and then use this app to format the card and try again. Seems like Express is not recognizing the card. www.sdcard.org/.../

Thank you and yes, good idea, I tried that and at first it didn't work, I then changed sd cards and that didn't work either - My Mac could see the cards but the 390 couldn't - eventually however after a lot of restarting and changing (garmin) usb leads etc., it finally saw the card. Interestingly I only found the change maps option once I had pressed the Re-Install map button and the unit then recognised that there was a SD card, whereas if I remember correctly, the Change Map option was on the same page as the Re-Install map - anyway It then installed all of Europe.

Frustratingly when I turned the 390 on to check the 'all of Europe' map was installed correctly, the unit told me it 'couldn't unlock maps' so I now have to figure that one out!

Sorted now - Factory reset and then reinstall maps, unit now has Maps for the whole of Europe and they are unlocked.
