403 error on Garmin Express update

After opening Garmin Express, I got a prompt to update but when I get to the "License" step of the installer, I receive the following message and am unable to proceed.

403 Forbidden

Request forbidden by administrative rules.

I have uninstalled GE and same error with the installation .dmg

I have checked there are no residual Garmin files in Library as per "full uninstall instructions"

Contacted Support who believe it is my Macbook Air. Is anybody experiencing similar.

does anyone have any info on the express 7.11.1.0 update? Is it legit? Can't find any info about it anywhere.

Not sure why this upgrade has been so problematic, but after GE refused to open after the install, I decided to download it again from the main site and install again. Finally worked despite the 403 Forbidden messages.

Got the update today and it won't load

Message reads

"install Garmin Express.PKG" can't be opened becausupdate Apple cannot check it for malicious software.

This software needs to be updated.

Please contact the Developer for more information

Resolved for me. Press Save on 403 Forbidden screen and save the file that pops up. Then installs stariaght off.

I was successful following 8238403's advice. Select SAVE and then again select Continue. Should work
