Compatibility of downloadable product unclear

I purchased a topographic map for my new Garmin watch (my first Garmin purchase), but I cannot download the map through Garmin Express. I read the requirements before purchasing the product, but they were only regarding the font compatibility. When you click more details, there's a sentence on that page that says "Make sure your device is compatible with this product before purchasing. Downloadable products are non-refundable" but there is no link to click to find this information. I figured that since I bought the latest model Garmin Fenix 6 Pro, it should be compatible with a software I download from maker's website.

When I try to get a refund, it does not let me. Any advice how to get the topographic map on my watch, or how to get my money back?

  • On this page for Garmin Fenix Pro 6, it says: "To purchase additional map data and view compatibility information, go to garmin.com/maps." That second link is where I purchased the map.

  • Found my answer, and hopefully steering a potential Garmin customer. Beware of purchasing products on devices set to accessibility mode. (I was using my father's computer.)

I scrolled right on my screen and found the missing "Compatible Devices" link that I was looking for before the purchase. Let's hope that Garmin has some integrity to refund me. If not, my watch - which was way more expensive than the map - is still in the return window.
