My poor little MacBook Air only has a 128 gig drive and the maps are rather large (1-4gigs each). What is the easiest way of purging all that data after the latest maps have been uploaded to my devices? I can use all the room I can.

Go to Macintosh HD => Users => "your user ID" => Library => Application Support => Garmin
There will be map files in the 'Express' folder and in the 'Maps' folder. You can delete those which are no longer of use.
There are also firmware update files in the 'Express' folder which can be deleted and may save enough space to be worth doing.
