Garmin Express Servers Not Available/ Device not compatible

Hello,

I am trying to update the maps on my device over the last couple of days but have been getting the error Servers are not available. 

I have tried it via Wifi and also via the laptop using the Garmin Express app, but still get the same error cannot communicate with the server.

Have already tried restarting the router, laptop, uninstalling and reinstalling the Garmin Express app.


I also removed the device to add it back in which resulted in another error where the Garmin Express app says that the device is not compatible.

I am using Garmin DriveSmart 65 with S/N 3339473544. The laptop is using MacOS Sierra. The Garmin Express app is v7.9.0.0

Anyone experienced these issues? I got the device 6 months ago and was able to update the maps during that time over the same network and laptop.
