Tactix Delta Solar 'Cannot Unlock Maps'

Gday all,

Today I did my 3 weekly charge and software/map update for my Tactix Delta Solar through Garmin Express (Mac). There was a Garmin Express Update required to be installed waiting for me along with a map update. Once complete and on unplugging the watch I received 'Cannot Unlock Maps' just after the Loading maps indication you see when unplugging. Garmin Express says my watch is up to date and all maps loaded (I think).

Has anyone had this recently? Suggested fix?

Thanks everyone for your comments. I am waiting also on an action plan from Garmin. Will keep you posted. Will probably wear out my charging plug if I keep trying to update and re load maps etc. so will wait for a solid solution.

Any answer yet? Pretty annoying having a GPS watch that cost this much, and the maps don't work . Please get this fixed!

Does not work for me too. The maps works well but always receive this error when I reboot the watch

I finally got mine to clear after doing the following.

Use Garmin Express to Reinstall TopoActive, CourseView and Ski Maps to an Outdoor Watch.

After each re-install, you will get an error that it can't unlock the maps after you eject the watch. Eventually the error will clear.

If that doesn't work, try re-installing all the maps.
