Express ver 7.7.0.0 for Mac no longer offers Installation Options

 Express ver 7.7.0.0 for Mac no longer offers Installation Options (i.e., device only or computer only or both device and computer).  The "Installation Options" is now dead link.

 

  • By the way, a FULL uninstallation of Express 7.7.0.0 (as recommended by Garmin support) followed by reinstallation from the Garmin download site does not change this issue.

  • Furthermore, connecting an alternate device (e.g., a DriveSmart 50) does not change this issue.

  • Garmin tech support acknowledged these problems which require another update to fix Express 7.7.0.0 when they wrote:

    We have been experiencing different issues with Garmin Express detecting the device, and not having the option to install to the computer. The next time you need to update I would recommend checking for an update to Garmin Express. We are creating new versions to resolve the issues we have seen.
