Garmin Express very slow on Mac Big Sur.

Slow download process on a FIOS network. I have a speed of 600GB up and down and still end up with super slow download speeds of around 1.1MB/sec. What is going on here?

I see this as an issue on your end with your servers. I am running Big Sur 11.4.

First up this is a peer to peer forum so your best bet is to contact Garmin Support directly.

’Secondly, I too run Garmin Express on a MacBook Pro and an iMac both on Buig Sur 11.4 but have no problems with upload or download. So, while it could well be a problem at GARMIN’s end you’ve possibly discounted problems at your end too quickly.

Called Verizon and they told me that with my speed that it is an issue with Garmin. Everywhere else I go to get any download is fast. I know they are large files, but I have downloaded several TB,s faster than from Garmin's site. I am a Web Developer too. With all the negative comments out there, I think this should be looked into. Something is not right on their end depending on where the download is coming from. No excuse for 1.1MB’s/sec.

It's sooooo slow. 256 KB/sec here (I have gigabit service). There are countless threads where people claim "it's a problem with your network/your computer/your dog/the moon" but quite obviously it's either a problem with the servers or Express itself. Nothing else I do is this slow.
