Lost Maps

Hi i desperately need your help i have a friends Drive 50LM s/n I have accidently wiped the maps off the sat nav (via a Mac) the only screen i get is the screen with "i agree" then the sat nav freezes, the sat nav came with life time updates and i have the option to reinstall the maps but Garmin Express does not see the sat nav although it is listed and i updated the maps 24 hours earlier. I am using the Garmin usb cable and the screen shows it is connected to the computer and is charging

Sounds like you may have deleted more than just the maps? What exactly did you do?

I had a sd card called Garmin for speed camera connected to the Mac the same time as I had the sat Nav went to disk utility to format the card saw a storage called Garmin and erased it but I erased the sat Nav

Well that's more than just deleting the maps. Regrettably if you've formatted it you may be out of luck. Try calling Product Support for help.
