  • Hi,
maybe some people here can't speak Spanish so I can't get help from anybody. That's why I will try to translate my question to English:

I have a brand new Garmin Fenix 6X Pro and I'm trying to download some music from my library with Garmin Express. I select a pair of lists and start the transference. After a while it looks like the files have been successfully copied into my device, and even a list of all songs appears in the screen for the device in the Garmin Express window. But low in the disk usage bar music only sizes a few mb and then I notice that only one song have been really copied. When I look into the folder Music in the device I see that a full tree of folders have been actually created but only de file of the song I saw in Garmin Express.
The main message shows my system info. I would only add that I use m4a files (apple lossless format).
    Thank you in advance.
    Jonatan.

  • Hi Jonatan,

I have the exact same problem with my fenix 6 pro / iMac with Catalina 10.15.7 / iTunes 1.0.6.10 / Garmin Express 7.4.2.0 / Apple lossless (.m4a).

Did you find a solution for this issue ?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Y-M.

  • I think the issue is with Apple lossless .m4a files.

It works OK with AAC compressed .m4a files or .mp3 files.

My entire music library comes from ripped CD to Apple lossless so I am not happy about this issue... :-(

  • Yes,

it was my problem. When I realised that I have all my music in Apple Lossless CODEC I tried to use another lossy codec and then it worked fine with m4a files.
it wasn’t type of file but only the lossless codec ALAC.
