RE: Garmin Express sync failure with Edge 25

Hi there, I'm having a similar issue with my Edge 25. I got a notification through Connect that there was a software update available. I updated the Express software, reopened it, plugged in the Edge 25 and it won't recognize it. I deleted the old profile for it and tried to start fresh, but it continually fails to find the device. What else can I try?

  • You posted to the Garmin Connect Mobile Windows forum, but your image is from Garmin Express for mac. I have to assume you do not have a Windows Phone. I've split and moved your post.

  • As stupid as this may seem, have you tried a different USB cable. I was updating my Edge 1030 with a JBL headphones charger USB C cable, it got about half way through and stopped. I tried everything including reinstalling software. When I got the original cable, it worked fine. Maybe not all USB C cables are the same.
