I have been through the forum looking for answers.
I have a nuvi XT that connects fine to GE. Maps are updated without any problems. I can run BC with the maps in device. I would however like to install the maps on the computer to be able to plan trips without the GPS connected.
Everytime I try to install the maps to the computr I get the error meassage "There was an error installing the update"
I click Maps Options -> Install to Computer -> Continue
Step 1 of 2 Initializing shows up, then the error message.
As far as I can tell I have the latest version of GE, macOS and maps.
What can I do to resolve this problem.
