GE is not working with macOS Big Sur 11.0.1

it does work on Big Sur and has done so throughout the beta versions I had loaded.

I can't get my Edge 520 plus to be recognized on Big Sur by GE.  My Varia RTL radar unit though does work, it is recognized as a demountable volume on Big Sur.

You might need Android File transfer.

No, Edge Series is mounted as USB Drive on Mac and Windows. Newer Garmin Fenix Devices are mount as MTP Device and are working with Garmin Express on Mac to. Installing Android File Transfer is not necessary.

However, to access the files directly on watches like the 945, Fenix 6, Marq etc, you need Android File Transfer. I was unsure whether that applied to newer cycling devices too.

When you go to System Information on Mac Big Sur, my Edge 520 plus does not show on either of the USB ports as a mounted device while the Varia radar does.  Still haven't found an answer.  Android File Transfer does not help.

Yep, tried the Garmin cable and others, no luck.  What is puzzling is the Varia radar unit shows up as a mounted device but the Edge does not.
