Course update too big and can’t select region because tick box greyed out. Tried all Garmin support solutions but nothing works

Could you explain what you're trying to do as it's not obvious from your post.

I am trying to update courses on Garmin express. There are 3 main regions to download but you should be able to select any region to reduce the file size. This is the option greyed out and unavailable. Not one Garmin article video or tutorial deals with this and merely runs through the update procedure as if it’s going to work perfectly.  The approach s20 golf watch has 64MB memory which is enough for the updates. I even formatted the device to make sure.
