Garmin Express turns to Beach Ball after login and PW when trying to connect for new authorization

When openening Garmin Express, it opens as it should. It displays my two watches and the one connected to the computer.

BUT when trying to open the connected watch Garmin Express will not do that. Instead it displays "new authorization needed" and asks me to give my login and pass word again.

When doing this, the program freezes and displays a Beach Ball. The program does not answer to commands and I need to force quit.

It's been like this for two weeks now.

Tried to download and install Garmin Express again, but no change.

This means I cannot upload any more data to my account.

I can though access my account at Garmin Connect by logging in from a browser, so my old data is still there. Thus, there should not be a problem with the website or my account at Garmin.
