Garmin Express automatically updates when it is DISABLED

Garmin Express 7.1.0.0 on MacOS (both are on latest versions).

Forerunner 945.

Automatic updates disabled on the watch.

Still, Garmin Express uploads the SW 5.0 update to my watch with all the other updates (languages, etc) what I DO NOT WANT.

Garmin Connect doesn't do this, Garmin Express provides the updates. Have you set that not to update?

Sorry, correct, Garmin Express.

There is no option to disable updates in Express, not anymore at least. I remember like there was earlier. With all that it should respect the watch settings where auto update is disabled.

The only option in Express is to disable auto-update of Apps, what I have disabled.

This is a new behaviour, started with Express 7.

I am using Express for SW updates only to choose what I want to update and what I do not (like I do not install golf coverage maps, I do not install West Europe map as I use only East, etc.).
