GPSMAP 495

HI All - Am really hoping for some help here :-) Have a GPSMAP495 - My MAC will not recognise this unit when I plug in - normally there is a beep sound and you can see on screen that USB IS CONNECTED - (it works on a windows machine) - I have tried EVERYTHING on this forum, changed cables, the works! - my MAC just does not recognise the unit when plugged in - Any help please anyone - Got a useless brick at the moment as I cannot update maps or anything

Where is the FAQ? - I also not sure which product support number to call - do they have an email address?
