audiobooks link going to podcast app instead of books app

In mac os catalina, in Garmin Express app, I am trying to sync my media.
When I try to go to audiobooks, the link 'open in itunes' takes me to a 'podcast' app in mac and it should take me to a 'book' app.
This means I cannot sync any audiobooks with my Garmin device. Is there anything I can do?

I am having this problem too. Any help would be appreciated!

Same here, anytime I click "Open iTunes" it opens the podcast app. Furthermore it means all my playlists and music are not even found by Garmin, let alone synched.

same here
