Do you have more than one device connected to your Garmin account? If so, open GC interweb, click the watch icon in the top right and choose which device to set as preferred activity tracker, then sync.
I’ve got the exact same issue with my new Tactix Delta. Along with a few other problems I’m kinda regretting the update from Fenix3 at the moment.
I’ve removed all my other devices except for my weighing scales.
While I upgraded from a Fenix5x , i deleted the old watch while upgrading the new watch - I guess it doesn't synch as expected. If you are facing such an issue where your default tracker is not being accepted by Garmin express , delete and reinstall Garmin express - it worked in my case.
Thanks- I’ll give that a go. It’s just part of a series of things that don’t work well, you start to despair!
