Garmin express Mac Os Catalina

Hi, I cannot seem to get Garmin Express working with Mac OS Catalina. Have re-downloaded both Garmin Express and the OS. Spent time on phone with Apple and Garmin. As soon as I download Express and open it, the application stops responding and then everything grinds to a halt and i have to reboot. Is anyone else having this problem?

    I cannot get my garmin Edge 520 to sync with computer since uploading Catalina.

    Same here. The Carmin Express app does not appear to be compatible with the Mac OS Catalina.

    Garmin express will not open since updating to Catalina. Tried reinstalling but still no luck.

    Nothing I can add really apart from saying that it's working on a late 2012 iMac, late 2015 iMac and a 2018 MacBook Pro, all on Catalina. The GE version I have installed is 6:18.

    Anybody reported this to Garmin?

    I'm having same/similar problem, my Edge 500 is not being mounted in Catalina version 10.15.1, hence Garmin Express never finds it.

    Was working fine prior to 10.15.1 update. Running Garmin Express version 6.14.0.0 then updated tp 6.18.0.0. and same issue.

    I had to manually update Express to 6.18 on Catalina, but after that, GE is working fine with Edge 1030 and Fenix 6x. I did not have map update.

    I can confirm MaGo77's approach: Download the current version of Garmin Express from Garmin's website. Then, install the new version.

    After that I was able to connect my Forerunner 735XT and Edge 520 again and install software updates.

    Some Micro-USB cables caused problems for me with the Edge 520. The device was charged. But, it wasn't detected by the USB subsystem of macOS. Thus, it wasn't shown on the desktop and it was not recognized as connected by Garmin Express.

    You can find the version of your Garmin Express installation by clicking on "Garmin Express" in the menu bar. Then, click on "About Garmin Express". The version that failed for me was 6.14.0.0. The new version is 6.18.0.0. I am currently running macOS Catalina version 10.15.1 on my computer.

    I had no trouble connecting my old Edge 800 after the upgrade to Catalina 10.15.1

    But the automatic Express update failed, I had to download manually from the Garmin site and install.

    I had troubles also but fixed it by deleting the old app and then downloading it again from Garmin www.garmin.com/.../
