Garmin Express and Edge 520 plus info out-of-sync?

Garmin Express says that my Edge 520 Plus software version (4.20) is up-to-date, but my Edge 520 Plus keeps asking me to update when I turn it on, saying it has 4.00. I did sync successfully.

Oh, i know. Express did download the files onto my device, but I actually NEED to install them. Duh on me.
