Sync Problems with Forerunner 910XT

Anybody experiences any problems with syncing Forerunner 910XT using Garmin Express on MAC (6.12.0.0 but I also tried 6.11). At first it was giving me "there was an error syncing with garmin connect", in the log file I have found:

I tried to reinstall garmin express (fully with deleting user configuration and data), readding my forerunner. With no luck. I also tried to do it on 2 macs with no success.

However that previous error disappeared. And now in garmin express I get "sync success" as if everything went ok. However my latest workout on the watch is from Sub Feb 17 (I checked and I do have it on the watch) and it never syncs. At the garmin connect it says "Synced Friday, Feb 15 at 17:38" even inspite of the garmin express app now telling me "sync success" today that is Mon Feb 18.

Any ideas what else to try? I contacted Garmin support by e-mail, but it seems it will take at least few days and I want to see if there are any hints to get my workout file sooner.
  • Also not sure if it is related, but yesterday when accessing garming connect from my web browser I usually got an error from Cloudflare CDN (node at Prague that is closest to me) meaning that it cannot connect to the backend. So maybe there were some backend problems (maybe it is specific to the Czech Republic endpoint). But today it seems to work fine, but my watch still does not sync.
  • I managed to download the workout file using [1]. So, I assume the watch itself is ok. And good that I at least managed to get the fit file. However, sync using garmin express still does not work. Will wait for what support replies then.

  • Just to follow up. I got reply from support and there was some server maintenance on the weekend. I managed to sync my new workout fine today, so the issue was temporary and is now resolved.
