Garmin Express not recognizing 310XT ant stick on new MacBook

Trying to get my 310xt to connect with Garmin Express. Ant stick is not being recognized. I'm Running Mojave OS and have tried suggestions of restarting with ant stick plugged in etc. Tried force quitting Express after closing and re-starting. Basically tried all the suggestions I could find by searching here. Sure would love to get this to work, thanks all!
