An error occurred while synchronizing Garmin Connect

I getting this error everytime i tried so sync my Garmin310XT with Garmin Express. I have takeing a new Mac with the latest Garmin Express v. 6.6.0.0 installed. The error is writed in danish, the english info is "An error occurred while synchronizing Garmin Connect" see picture.

Some times is also starts sync an then after a while the watch is turned off even when there still a lot of battery on the watch ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1383407.png
  • I get it all the time too. Sync works but cannot update apps or manage the device.
  • I've upgraded to the latest Garmin Express version this morning and now my Fx will sync but most of the updates won't install as it says it can't sync data as it's not my preferred activity tracker??? it's my only activity tracker!!!...

    I've upgraded to 6.9.0.0 and still see the same error. I've not been able to sync for 2-3 months now :(ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1425488.png
  • Same problem for me (from Italy), the synchronization sometimes does not work.

    Same thing is happening to me today. Very frustrating. I upgraded to the latest version (6.11.0.0), but not working.
  • The web version of Garmin Connect says my software version on my Fenix 5 Plus is up to date with v3.20. Garmin Express on my mac says version v6.00. My watch says v3.20. Could this be why I can't download any apps? Spotify, watch faces? Garmin Express not updating my software?
  • Same problem here. I have been in touch with Garmin support (phone, e-mail) numerous times over the past month. I have spent over 15 hours following up on all kinds of suggestions (delete from Garmin Express, reinstall, delete files, re-set, adding all sensors again, check network, new account, writing up all issues/tasks done). Latest info from Garmin support is that they sent it to another department and have to wait. They cannot give any timelines from this department and are constantly referring to 'they'. There's a clearly a huge disconnect between department @ Garmin. I don't know what to do anymore, very frustrating and worst customer service (no solution, no information, internal issues) I have seen for a long time, an A-brand like Garmin unworthy.

    This issue is also reported in other forums, so should be clear by now that it's not just a handful of people having this issue.

  • Started working for me again today without any issues. macOS 10.14.3 (18D109) and Garmin Express Mac 6.11.0.0
