Garmin Express still showing Sat Nav update available after install

As per title really I connected my BMW Nav 4, (Garmin unit), to Garmin Express and it told me there was a safety camera update available so I installed the update.

Even though GE is telling me that it is installed its also telling me that there is a update available.

Try rebooting your device :)

Yep done that with both the sat nav and my iMac even connected it to my Win Pc and same thing still shows that there is an update available even after it says that its been successfully installed.

I've been getting the same for my 3598 for a while now for latest maps. Thought latest update of GE would cure it; it doesn't.

You could either ignore it or try the following. Delete the GarminDevice.xml file on your device then reboot it so the xml file is recreated. It should be recreated with the correct details.

Note though that if you only downloaded part of the map and are entitled to the full map you will get that message.

Tried it and appeared to work when checked shortly afterwards, but not this morning. Think I'll live with it for now. Safety camera downloads seem to work now, didn't last week. I did try cameras via My Garmin but all that did was to erase them from POI.
