Unable to sign in to Garmin Express

Garmin Express recognizes my Forerunner, but when I try to sign in I get this fault:
"We're unable to sign you in because our servers are unavailable at this time." This has been going on for about ten days now.
I have no trouble signing in on the website, and even tried signing in through 'marine vessels', which worked fine, so the servers seem fine to me.
Any clues?
