Dash Cam 55

I installed Garmin Express on macOS Sierra 10.12.4. It cannot find my Dash Cam 55. I also tried Virb on an Android and connecting to its WiFi. I can connect to the WiFi but cannot find the device. I am a software engineer, this should be easy!
