Garmin ANT+ USB not being detected in macOS Sierra

Hello,

I'm running macOS Sierra v 10.12.4 and Garmin Express 5.4.0.

I just purchased a usb ant+ device and when I insert it into my system isn't being recognized. The item code is GRM003Y-BK-ONESIZ. I've tried two machines, both are using macOS Sierra and neither are recognizing the device. Please advise.

Thank you

Same issue with Nuvi 3790 LMT

When I connect my Nuvi to my Mac under Sierra, 10. 12.4
    The Nuvi starts
But when I check in Garmin Express it doesn't seems to be connected.
    Can you advice?
    thx

    Issue Resolved

I spoke with support and did the following.

    • I had the Garmin Web Updater installed and was told I needed to remove it. Apparently there are compatibility issues.
    • Remove garmin express, then reboot.
    • Reinstall Garmin Express latest version.
    • Quit Garmin Express, then install Garmin Vector updater

Once I did this I was able to see my devices using ANT+ in the trainerroad app.
