Garmin Express Software update download for Forerunner hangs

Using Macbook Pro with OSX 10.10.5 and Garmin Express 5.1.0.0. My watch (Forerunner 210) has not been used/updated in at least a year so Express is trying to update its software and it hangs with "1 minute remaining" on the download.

Haven't found this same problem in these forums so I'm hoping it has a fix and I've just been unable to locate it. Thanks for the help.

Right. I've waited about 30-45 minutes, during which time I also got to experience the bug wherein a Mac won't sleep when Garmin Express is running.

That leaves a complete removal and reinstall of GE then as possibly your only option.

No help I know but I've not had any issues on any flavour of OS with GE. The specs suggest you should be ok with 10.10 so I'd just try to uninstall and reinstall completely including all preference panes etc.

I think there's some instructions in the forum somewhere.
