Why isn't Express in the App Store?

My primary computer is a Mac through work for which I don't have admin access but for which I can use the App Store to install things. Several Garmin applications are in the App Store, but Express is not. So I can't install Express on my primary computer.

Is there a reason that Express isn't in the App Store? Alternatively, is there a way that I can just copy the files into the Application directory? Some Installers allow that as an "Install only for you" option, but the Express installer doesn't seem to have that.

You should be able to download Garmin Express for Mac from here.

As I said in my note, I can install things through the App Store, but I can't install Express from the download because it inexplicably demands admin access.

That's why I want it in the App Store like other Garmin software.

Ok got it. Best to call in a support case with Garmin. Alternatively call your own work support desk to have them install it or give you rights to do so. Not work-related, so they may find that inappropriate. Then they'll also take away access to the app store if they find out. :eek:
