Garmin Express - Servers down??

For the last week, I have been unable to sync my Forerunner 10 with Garmin Express. I get this error "We're unable to add this device because our servers are unavailable at this time." I have uninstalled and reinstalled Garmin Express. My watch charges just fine when I plug it in and I can see it under My Computer and get to the files on my watch so I know it's connected. I've also cleaned the contact points with alcohol. I am at a loss for what to do next. Any help?
  • Garmin’s abilities in the software realm are underwhelming, but I don’t recall any significant (beyond the transient) unplanned outages and the planned ones don’t last particularly long (less than an hour, I guess?).

    The problem you’re encountering sounds almost like there’s a firewall or an IP black-list in your local router / modem (cable or DSL) or conceivably your ISP. You might consider talking to your ISP about the connectivity problem you’re experiencing.

    Thank you all for your assistance. Now when I try to connect I get "We couldn't find a device or ANT Stick." My forerunner 10 is connected and charged. Any thoughts? I've cleaned it like I said. This all of a sudden started happening about a week ago, up until then no problems for 2 years. Thanks!

    I'm still getting the "unable to find device because Garmin servers are down" error. I'm so tired of this......
  • Well it's not universal so possibly something wrong at your end ... give Garmin a call for individual troubleshooting.

    I've been having the same trouble for weeks with Garmin Express and my Fenix 3HR (also my wife's FR 920xt). I tried downloading version 5.0.0 again today but the connection problem still persists.

    It's now been 2 months since Garmin Product Support told me "We are aware of the issue and are working to correct it." I still cannot get Garmin Express to run on my MacBook pro (OSX Sierra). Getting frustrated. :(

    I am sorry if you have been this long. There was most likely some kind of outage when you contacted us before but there are currently no such issues. Please contact support again so that we can troubleshoot the issue.

    Problems here as well

    Getting the same error on my macbook: "We couldn't find a device or ANT Stick." Just bought a new Drivesmart 50 and cannot connect to get updates. Have Garmin Express 5.0 and am familiar with the software as I had a Vivosmart HR+. Frustrating.
