Garmin Express not working with Edge 500

Garmin Express has not been syncing with my Edge 500. I have been having to sync my cycling workouts manually through Garmin Connect. I also have a Forerunner 230, and it has been been syncing on Garmin Express without any problem. The message window that pops up says "An unexpected error has occurred and Garmin Express must close. If you continue to experience this, contact Garmin customer support." Any ideas?
  • I had problems with syncs from an Edge 800 - but manual uploads worked. After I reinstalled Garmin Express for Mac (4.1.30.0) it is now 4.2.0.0 it worked.

    But it failed to sync my Edge 800 yesterday and I noticed that on the Home option of Garmin Express my Vivofit had a Blue circle with arrows which I could not clear by Syncing the Vivofit. So I quit Garmin Express and restarted it and t worked.

    There is some odd bug in Garmin Express.

    Thanks Truck5067. I updated to 4.2.0.0, but I still have the same problem. Hopefully that bug will get fixed soon.

    Same issue. My Mac don't find my Nuvi anymore.
    Please Garmin Team, can you fix this?
