Can't update firmware from 3.30 to 4.20

Hi,
I'm trying to update my Vivoactive firmware on a Mac, using Garmin Express, from version 3.30 to 4.20. It just sits at the installation screen saying downloading software and never moves on.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Almost same problem; brand new V.Active HR will not update firmware from 3.3 to 4.2.
Although mine does complete action just does not update.
