nüvi 3790 - not connected

When I connect my Nüvi 3790 LMT to my Mac (MacOS Sierra), it is firstly detected by Garmin Express (4.1.30).
Then I see that I can install the 2017.10 version of the map.
When I launch that... the response is that I've not enough memory on the Garmin (I've a 8Gb micro SD into it).
What should I do to solve this?

After this negative feedback, the connection to my garmin is lost.

My connection keeps dropping in and out when I click install update. It drops the Nuvi and then tells me it's no longer there and doesn't detect it again.

You should add an SD card to your Nuvi and the update should be able to proceed.

Nuvi not detected

Hello,
I already have a SD Card in it.
I just retried and my mac is not finding at all the GPS. It's like it is not connected.
Is there something I should clean up?
