mac el capitan 10.11.6; express just updated after a warning, so it is the latest version.
Device (motorrad navigator V) is recognized and updated to latest map version (full europe 2017.20, also on SD card).
When I try to install the map update also on the computer to be used directly with basecamp the process initialises, asks for agreement, warns with a window of important notes, a but immediately fails with an error while doing step 1 of 2 (after a few secs of a spinning circle).
Red banner with "error installing the update", nothing obvious seen in the logs
Tried restart, reinstall of express, deleted previous maps on computer...
nothing works.
