Garmin Express application stuck when trying to login with Garmin account

pretty much the title explains the problem I am facing, - Garmin express successfully detects my new fenix 3 watch, yet when I am trying to login, it gets stuck. What can I do?
MBP 2014, Sierra 10.12 (16A323)

Fixed by reloading the watch and then re-connecting.
