Garmin Express don't find/sync my Fenix 3

Hi,

Since I've upgraded to fw 7.5, it seems that my Fenix 3 is not syncing via Garmin Express. It syncs with the iOS app but not via USB. The watch mounts on my desktop but Garmin Express shows the watch as "disconnected"

I also tried to remove the watch from the app ton repair it without success. I also tried to delete the GarminDevice.xml file without success.

It was fine with fw 7.2

I've reset the USB port with PRAM and SMC reset on my mac

My cradle is working fine
GE is up to date. I've tried to delete and install it again without any success

any ideas ?

    I am sorry that you are having trouble with your Fenix 3. Please make sure that you have gone through the steps here: Garmin mass storage or MTP device not detected by Garmin Mac applications

    If this does not solve the problem, also make sure that the device storage isn't full. If so, you will need to delete old data off of the device from the /Garmin/Activities folder and then restart the watch. If this does not solve the problem, please contact Product Support.

    I just updated a fenix 3 to firmware version 7.50. After this, the device mounts to the Mac (El Capitan 10.11.6) desktop as my Finder preferences are setup to do. Garmin Express 4.1.26.0 detects the device and adds it with no problems.

    As we are unable to duplicate the problem, the best course of action is to call Product Support.

    maybe something was flawed during the process of beta testing several firmwares

    start from 7.2 and upgrade gradually with each fw the beta team has launched

    for me it's still out even with the x.26 of GE :-(

    beta team didn't read or even answer the mail

    consumer support says master reset... as always

    Hot news :

    with GE x.26 uploaded today.

    after deleting the GarminDevice.xml, my watch asked to downgrade to 7.50 (I was under 7.51 for the last days)

    I had to set the minimum info like after a master reset and know my watch is recognized in GE.

    after upgrading again to 7.51, the sync with GE is broken again

    So I tried to delete GarminDevice.xml and tada, it works !

    So there is kinda proof for me that there was an issue with the latests fw, GarminDevice.xml and GE
