can u please help me with this?
because i'm one hour from start my motorcycle 2000km trip, and i need the gps and the maps!!!!

thanks!
  • Could be a couple of reasons. Most likely is that you need to have it in a folder named Garmin. Is it?

Less likely card must be formatted FAT32.
  • Yes!!! And it was done automatically by the garmin communicator! And is formatted in fat32 by a Mac
  • Then not sure, your best bet would be to call Product Support.

Edit: I seem to recall formatting on a mac has caused issues in the past, are you able to format it on a PC? Or use a format utility rather than rely on your mac? This one is recommended https://www.sdcard.org/downloads/formatter_4/

The City Navigator Europe NT mapping is over 3.5 GB in size. Does the mapping image on your SD card show that it is the correct size? It is possible that the full file was not transferred to the SD card.

Whether or not the image file is complete on the SD card, I recommend trying the download again. Here are some suggestions:

    Downloadable Content issues

In addition to those, I recommend using a separate card reader for the SD card. The Oregon 450 may not be able to write data as fast as the Mac is sending it.

It is also very important that the Mac does not go to sleep or the screen saver kick on during the download process. Both can cause the map update to show that it is completed when it has not fully done so when waking up the Mac or screen.

If the Oregon 450 still fails to detect the mapping, you may want to try a master reset:

Master reset for Oregon 200, 300, 400 and 500 series devices

If the device still does not detect the mapping, contact Product Support by phone for further assistance.
