In my current job I'm required to drive a 7.5tn or 12tn lorry to residential properties to make deliveries.
A lot of these deliveries are in London.
I've encountered many width restrictions which, even though the vehicles dimensions are entered into the satnav, the directions given do not recognise these restrictions.
These are not new restrictions either.
One specific width restriction is on Barnsbury Street in north London.
I've had deliveries in that area several times and even though the active profile has a vehicle width in excess on 6ft, the directions given tell me to take the lorry through a 6'6" width restriction.
How can this issue be resolved?
