Hello,
I'm having issues with updating maps to Edge 1000 via Garmin Express (Mac OS X). The device connects ok and it appears tz map is updated but garmin cycle map is not. I already tried uninstalling and clearing Library/Garmin/Express, Cache and Preferences dirs. I tried restarting device, resetting device, removing all map files from device. Also tried on another computer which never had Garmin Express installed but without luck. The error message I get from Garmin express is 'There was an error installing the update' which does not say why it has failed.
I found this in Service logs:
