Edge 1000 won't update eu cycle map

I tried everything: clearing out library/app support/garmin/express, caches, preferences, resetting device, another computer etc. But without luck.
I'm constantly getting error message that update has failed and this is from logs

help
  • No wifi connection, using cable. still an error.

(...)This could possibly be due to the wireless internet connection.

I am using a cable provider (10 MB/s down / 1 MB/s up), so a wireless connection is not the issue with me.

I apologize for the confusion. The steps about checking the internet were provided before we had complete Garmin Express logs from the Mac. These are steps that can normally help with download problems when our downloads are working correctly. In this case, this issue is on our end and your internet connection is most likely good.

We have now received some complete Garmin Express logs that detail the issue. With these we have been able to duplicate the issue here and better determine why the files are being sent as the wrong size. Our developers are now working on a fix for the problem. Once we have the issue corrected, we will post an update in this forum.

We are sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. Thank you for your patience.

    Dave.
  • That was quick :)

This is good news. Thank you for your very quick reaction, I hope it is not too much work to find the bug.
  • Same Problem

I'm also having the same issue. Have downloaded from multiple MAC's both wired and wireless. Do you have any idea when this issue will be fixed please? Logs have been provided already by email but I've not heard anything back.

I am happy to answer your question. We do not have an estimate for the fix unfortunately. It has been reported to the developers but it depends on how complex the issue is and what other issues they are already correcting. Though we do not have an estimate, we will post in this forum once we have the fix. We appreciate your patience in this matter.

  • One more here :)

Waiting for the fix with my colleagues of misfortune ;)
  • Its working for me now..!

My update is running now and it looks like its OK!

  • As CUMULUSNIMBUS pointed out, this update should be fixed now. A change was made on the server end to fix the issue today. I tested it and didn't receive an error. Please try running the update again.
