Cannot Update to FW v.5.30 nüvi 2497

Hello. I have nüvi 2497 and I periodically updated it till version 4.41 which I have now. When I try to update my device to the current version 5.30, Garmin Express says that device was updated, but it doesn't, and when I try to unplug and plug it back again, the story repeates.

I've tried to update about a hundred times already. I used Garmin Express and WebUpdater, on Mac, on Windows, I unplugged external SD card, but still no result. Again, I was able to update the device before.

Please, advice. Thank you.

    I am sorry you have not been able to update your software on the nuvi 2497. If Garmin Express and the WebUpdater both fail to install the software, we can save the software update to the device manually. We do need to send you a file for your device that is too large to send via email unfortunately. We will need to set up a remote assistance session with your computer and directly transfer the file to you. (You still have full control with remote assistance.) To set this up, please call ">Product Support">Product Support by phone.

    Hello, thanks for your quick reply. The problem is that I'm in Ukraine... Maybe, it will be easier if I can download the firmware from your ftp server or you can share the file with me via Dropbox or Google Drive? My email is tkachenko.rpd at Gmail.

    I am sorry you are still having trouble installing the software for your device. Unfortunately, we do not have a public FTP server and are not allowed to use unapproved third party tools such as DropBox and Google Drive. You will need to contact a ">Product Support Europe">Product Support Europe if you cannot call here. The "UK & Ireland" office can help even if you do not live there.
