Help, help. Newbie and not working

New to all of this and just done a run. Downloaded my farm in express and Garmin app for iPhone. My Garmin 25 forerunner connects to them but doesn't upload any of the run data. Any idea why? Tried everything, really at a loss now.

Garmin connect says I'm connected and it's syncing but no activities are going on there.

With the Mac I'm logged in and connected with the green tick on account etc but nothing being uploaded.

Very frustrated.

Please help

Thanks

I am sorry you are having trouble syncing your data with Garmin Connect. Most likely, this is because there is data sitting in your Garmin Connect Sync Queue and it is trying to upload data while it downloads data. Please try the following:
    • Log into Garmin Connect using your web browser.
    • On the left pane, click on the Sync Queue to expand it. (It looks like two arrows.)
    • Click on the "x" to the right of "Software Updates".
    • Confirm you want them deleted.
    • Close Garmin Connect.
    • Connect your device to the computer.
    • Launch Garmin Express.
    • Select your device and try syncing again.
Once it is finished, please go to your Garmin Connect account and see if the data from the Forerunner 25 has uploaded.

If it still fails, let us know. There may be some bad data on the device or computer.

    Dave.
  • Done until launch gar in express and logged into it and back to the same problem where it says my forerunner 25 is connected and given a green tick by account but it doesnt show any option to sync it.
  • Exactly same problem with app. Says my watch is connected but doesn't sync any of the run data on to the app. Very fustrating

I am sorry you are still can't sync your Forerunner 25. If it still fails, most likely there is some bad data on the device. We can try to manually upload the Activities and we may save some of them. Please use the steps in the FAQ, "">How do I manually upload data from USB Mass Storage devices to Garmin Connect?">How do I manually upload data from USB Mass Storage devices to Garmin Connect?"

Once this data has uploaded, we need to clear it off the device and computer. This should stop the error and ensure future data doesn't have problems. Please try the following:
    • With the device connected to your Mac, open the "Garmin" drive.
    • Open the "Activities" folder.
    • Drag all the "Activities" to the "Trash" and close the window. Don't "Eject" the device until all the steps here are done.
    • At the top of the Mac's screen, click on "Go".
    • Click on "Go to Folder...".
    • Type ~/library/application support/garmin/express/registereddevices and click "Go". (The Mac normally capitalizes these folders automatically.)
    • Open the folder with your device's ten digit Unit ID number.
    • Send the "PendingSyncUploads" folder to the Trash.
    • Empty the Trash. You must do this step.

Now, the data should be removed from the computer. When you gather new data, it should upload correctly. Let us know if you have more trouble.

  • I've managed to manually upload the data manually but when it comes to me dragging it into my trash it won't go in the trash, able to delete but not move it to trash.

Deleted it in the screen inside the farm in webpage not the trash

Went to the Go step and typed in the following

~/library/application support/garmin/express/registereddevices (do I type this in its entirety? When I just typed in ~ a library option wasn't available. When I typed it in its entirety I received the message the folder can't be found)

In my go to folder option only to receive this message

    The folder can't be found

Try clicking the Go menu > Home > Go menu > Go to Folder > then the path.
