Mapupdate Satnav and Mac

Yesterday evening a new mapudate, Europe NTU 2017.10, but in Express on a Mac you need to to this thing always two times. First time on the Satnav and a second time to update the Mac.
Why is it not possible as in the pc version, to do it in one time?

I know how to do, but is this,

"7 Select Computer and Device
Windows Only - If necessary, click Browse to change the map install location"

In previous versions of GE it was possible.

You can install the maps to the device and computer during the same installation by selecting Device and Computer under Installation options using the instructions provided by Lisa. It has never been possible to change the install location on the Mac during the Garmin Express installation so this is why there is a Windows only section in the instructions.

Yes you can, under Yosemite, it is not possible under El Capitan there you have no choice.

The option to install to "Computer and Device" is available on Mac OS 10.11 (el Capitan). However, you will not see this option during a "Reinstall" because it is assumed that one of them already has the maps. I have sent you an email with an attachment that shows you what you should see and what to click on.

If you still have trouble, please reply to that email for further assistance.
