Speedcamera files

Hi,

I have a Dash Cam 20 and has bought the speed camera files from Garmin, Cyclops. When I try to install them I get the point where it try to find the unit, it says looking for device and thats it, it will not go further.
It is found by the Garmin express, that SW starts when it is connected. I am using Mac with Safari. Earlier I found it to work with Firefox, but that will not work any more as it will not support the add ons.

When I goes to the web page for Garmin Communicator Plugin, it says I have V. 4.2.0.0 installed, but with the device connected it says looking for device and the wheel is spinning for ever? As said the Garmin Express can see the device.

Any idea? Is it possible to just find the files and but them on the device manually?

I am sorry that you are having trouble installing your Safety Cameras purchase. Unfortunately there is not any way to download the files directly as they have to be unlocked to your device. Please follow the instructions in the FAQ Why doesn't the Garmin Communicator Plugin see my device?

If you are still having trouble, please contact Product Support by phone.

Garmin don't have any working support.

I give up, I did contact the norwegian Garmin support, they just told me the Dash Cam 20 don't support the Garmin Speed camera files��

What I think is the problem, the Communicator plugin don't work with this device, I have tried with two different Mac, Safari on both, same result, the

I researched this a little more. The Dash Cam devices have some very limited internal memory for operating system updates and things like that but it is not able to be viewed and not large enough to load the Safety Cameras for Europe. Even the Dash Cam 35 which is compatible with the US & Canada and Australia & New Zealand regions don't have enough space to load Europe regions. Which is why you were informed it was not compatible.
